great job on the shirts.i really really like the first one.and i love the buttons.i also love the fact that it looks lie it could be sold at a store.the craftmanship is amazing and i give you your props...i personally have not been able to get around to tops withs sleves yet.which i want to so bad.but being that ive been teaching my self as i go and making my own patterns i just havent got there yet.but back to your top its awsome and i really love the collar.

These are excellent - great job!  I love the first one especially - the pattern is just fabulous.  I think it needs the buttons (or something) too, but you may want to consider these two suggestions:
1) Using lighter buttons.  From the pic, it looks like there are two buttons that are darker.  Maybe you could switch these for more of the lighter buttons.  It depends on what you want of course, but when I look at the photo and squint, the darker buttons just jump out at me, while the lighters ones are still noticeable but a wee bit more subtle.
2) Use one (or two) larger buttons.  Like one BIG button at the bottom corner.  This will definitely jump out, but if you pick a colour that isn't too bold, it could look really good.

I think it's still awesome if you keep it as is though, so definitely do what you want!
