i'm horrible at attempting to DRAW up tutes, so i'll just do my best to explain what i did. i always just make it up as i go lol

shirt #1.
what i did was measure around my chest. i actually measured at the biggest part around my boobs but ended up taking off a couple inches from the measurement cuz of the amount of material i had available. it was stretching tshirt material so it worked out very well. so you figure out how big around you need it and how long you want it. cut it out. i didn't hem the top or bottom, i don't hem much. i did hem the sides tho so i could put eyelets down both sides. they're spaced about an inch apart. i laced it up with black ribbon. and then figured out how wide the straps should be in order to cover my bra straps (i hate strapless bras. only wear them when i HAVE to). cut those and cut my mom to help me pin them. then sewed those on with a zig zag stitch. all done.

shirt #2. oi this one will be harder.
for the top part. i measured from like the top of my boob to underneath and then from one side under my arm to the other. just for rough measurements on how big i thought i wanted the material to be cut. i cut out  two of those pieces and twisted it together (i'll take pics and post them at the end to help explain) i sewed the twisted pieces together to make the top section. i measured from under my boobs down to the top of my jeans to figure out how long i needed to piece connected to the top part to be using the same side to side measurements for that. cut that out and sewed it to the top part. for the back piece, i didn't measure how big i thought it should be, i just cut it lol. lotta help i am huh? i sewed that to the front, and actually pleated the top front part to make it fit to the back piece. i added "darts" to the back piece as well to pull the front section to the back a bit or else it hung funny in the front. once again i figured out how big the straps needed to be to cover my bra strap but also knew i wanted them as small as possible to look good with this shirt. and got mom to help pin them on. all done.

i'll just link the pics i took for this, cuz there's 5 of them.

2 pieces of material cut to size.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/btrfli81/howto/1.jpg

twisted together.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/btrfli81/howto/2.jpg

twisted. closer.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/btrfli81/howto/3.jpg

the actual shirt. twisted. close up.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v74/btrfli81/howto/4.jpg

and close up of the pleats and "dart".

if it any of it doesn't make sense, lemme know and i'll try to explain better. or if you want more pics of something. lemme know.

thanx : )

i was gonna go green this time. i always go pink (and i'm keeping it pink this time yay). did purple once that was a disaster. but yeah i always get the kind that bleaches and dyed at the same time for the initial time that way i don't have to worry about bleaching it myself, and they didn't have green. so yeah i caved and went pink again.

actually, when i was at sally's to buy manic panic to redo my hair, i saw the green and thought of you! lol i swear. as weird as that may sound.
