I just had to try it again!  I finished an infinity dress earlier this morning made from a heavy pink stretch material.  I found some very lightweight purple tee shirt material hiding in my stash and decided to give it another go...

unfortunately i didn't have enough fabric to make it as long as i would have liked but it made me be creative and figure out different ways to tie it.

Tucked into my shorts, straps tied with scraps of fabric:

Skirt with bow:

Jumper:

High waisted skirt:

V-neck Dress:

My favorite is the tanktop tucked into my shorts but it's also the hardest to get to look right

Any suggestions for other ways to tie it?  It's too short to pull up for the halter styles and too long to wear as a shirt...but other skirt ideas or ideas to layer it over shirts would be helpful. Thanks!!

__smellmop - i think i started with about 1.5 yards.  I probably could have made it a little longer with the fabric i had but oh well...I made the circle skirt part 25" long - next time i'll add 2 or 3".

Dem - I used this tutorial: http://rowena.typepad.com/rostitchery/infinity-dress.html

Love it as the top! Smiley

If you add elastic to the bottom then it would be a matter of just turning it under. Although that would mean that would be it's only use.

HSG - yea I had thought about adding elastic...I might still try that. I will post an update if I do.  Might be cool as a bubble skirt as well Smiley
