This is my first project with my new serger!!  Took me a while to get all the settings right but I did it Smiley

I followed this tutorial for the dress: http://rowena.typepad.com/rostitchery/infinity-dress.html
and this tutorial for the circle skirt measurements: http://www.whatthecraft.com/tuts/circ.htm

My friends and I are gonna pretend we're tourists today and take the double decker bus around DC (even though we all live here...haha).  This will be the perfect dress to wear!

This is my favorite way to tie it just because of the way the back looks.

The fabric is a really thick 4-way stretch material I had in my stash. The color's not quite right in this photo but it gives you a better idea of the texture.

The edges are all raw at the moment...but I may finish them with a rolled hem if I can ever figure out how to get my serger to do that...

Let me know what you all think! Criticism is welcome as I'm always looking for ways to improve.   Happy Memorial Day!!!

very pretty Smiley  i just got some fabric in to make an infinity dress after wanting one for ages.  i'm still considering how long the straps need to be.  how long did you make them?

You did an awesome job on this dress.   The back is perfect.  I just made the same dress, but had no idea what to do with the straps...  It looks great!

bobbingblondie - I made the straps 60" to begin with but ended up cutting about 15" off.  So for me 45" is more than long enough.  Good luck with yours!
