I just got my package from the amazing monkey see monkey do.
And she spoiled me big time! I'll let her posts pics if she has them-if not, tonight I'll have time to put stuff on the scanner.
Anybody would be lucky to have her for a partner.
I kept unwrapping cool thing after cool thing-if I'd gotten her package first, I would have been embarassed to send out my own!
Thanks again, partner!

Okay, behold the awesomeness-
her camera is dying, and I used the scanner, so these don't do it justice, as well as being pic heavy.
The mermaid

Embroiderd pillowcase and handmade card

jewelry with shrinky dinks, sea glass and more-and she and her kids collected the sea glass from thier beach

handmade journal, with built in shrinky bookmark and charm

Inside of journal

detail of the great bag

more bag detail, and folded down a bit to show the lining fabric

The extras are cool fishy shower gel, and little terry fishies, and a sqoosh ball. I wish you could see all the detail on the shrinkys-the one on the bracelet has this quote-
My life is like a stroll upon the beach as near to the oceans edge as I can go-Henry David Thoreau(The miss spelling is my bad-my middle aged eyes can't make out all the letters Grin)

Thanks again, Monkey_Sea_Monkey_D o! I love everything!!

Those are the best I can do on the scanner. If monkeysee wants to post, she can-but she told me her ancient camera is dying. But thanks! It was indeed a cool swap package.

okay, here are my sad little pictures.  Roll Eyes

I was trying to make the mermaid look "fluid" and not stiff, like my first attempt. But I found that yarn and I loved it!

Here's the bag...I tried to make the sea creatures look cute.

My husband had to point out the octopus only has 6 legs, so he's really a squid. My defense is that some of the legs are BEHIND him, mmmkay?
Anyhow, those are the best pictures my crummy camera could take. Thanks for swapping with me, Linda! Smiley
