In TLC Baby Amore Yarn in Rose and Moda Dea Dream in Waterlily. I am so proud of these. I made them for my sister’s BFF who is also a friend of the family. I went with the little black x noses instead of the pink triangles the pattern called for, because my embroidery floss was too close in color to the yarns, and also because this gave them a more anime look.

OH I LOVE THIS PATTERN! I've been wanting to make these but I'm not much of a crochet-er - was it difficult?  You did a great job! love what you did with the little face!!

They aren't too hard - done in the round and I think mostly basic stitches, double and maybe half double crochet.  The hardest part is putting them together, and that's not too hard either.

Very cute! And I am glad to see that you have a yarn subsitute that looks almost like that stuff in the book. I think this may be my next project from the book...

I made them for a friend size 8 1/2 and they fit just right.  For a 9, you might want to add a row or two to each piece.  The best thing I can recommend is just trying it and seeing how it turns out.  Sorry I can't offer more help!

Is there anyway that you could possibly be able to give me directions how to do this? I'm new to this. So if you could it would be terrific =DDD
