So my parents-in-law drink copious amounts of tea...meaning their Bodum gets a lot of use.  My mom-in-law was using a shabby (albeit clever) method of using an old dish towel sewn up on one side as a tea cozy.  She's an avid gardener and their kitchen is awesomely amazingly and I couldn't let the ragged dish towel cozy madness go on any longer than it already did.

So I went out and bought some wonderful Cascade 220 wool and got to schemin':

What do you guys think? I'm already thinking about doing up another garden-themed one for her...

Cute! I've been staring at my Bodum for months trying to figure out what to make for it, and here you have the cutest solution!  The best cozies are the ones that cover the opening because they retain heat better, so yours is perfect.

it is an EGGPLANT! how FUN!

I saw this and assumed that it was a hat... it would make a cute hat though, huh?

I'm a coffee addict, so my Bodum cafetiere gets used every day, several times a day. Currently I'm using a length of polar fleece wrapped around it through the handle as a cozy (and have done for the last 3 years!!! Embarrassed ) You totally make me want to get off my bum and get around to doing this project. I feel like a bad craftster!!

Very good, I got that it was an aubergine/eggplant right away. Though I did do a "Why'd she photograph her hat next to that cafetiere!?" Roll Eyes Silly me!!
