What a totally awesome bag! I love all the little pockets on it and the print is soooo pretty.

I've got WIP pics of my temari. I started with a 3 inch foam core and wrapped that in a layer of what yarn. On top of the yarn goes 300 yards of whatever color thread you want for the base(mari). In this case I chose red. I then layed out the C-8 division in gold metalic thread over the red base.

Enjoy. <3 Grin

Puppy-girl
when my stuff acts up, I switch hooks from standard to afgan & lots of pillows to support me. AND long hot bath soaks. Wait...I do that anyway.I tried stopping & REST like Dr said, but then my WIPS were calling. I hope you feel better
Sherrie B, SD

i tried the pillow thing and it helped my elbow & shoulder (my wrist still started to get a lil iffy).  thanks for the advice!  the switching hooks would probably help my wrist, but i don't have an afgan one in the size i'm using.

I just finished my prize a few minutes ago and am very excited to show it off.  Like Homerof2, I would not be at all distressed to see it come back home to me!

Here it is-- a lunch bag made from a vintage pillowcase from the tutorial at ohfransson.com.  I love this pattern.  It's enough to make me wish I didn't work at home, so I could pack a little lunch every day.

The exterior is covered with iron on vinyl, and the interior is lined with the striped fabric quilted with some fusible fleece for insulation.  The matching placemat closes with velcro.  The finishing touches are a tasteful amount of white ric-rac, some white vinyl ribbon and a couple of flower buttons.

Enough jabber-- on to the pix!

The bag, and the placemat all folded up to fit neatly inside:

Looking down at the drawstring top:

And the placemat, all opened up:

I hope whoever gets it loves it, or knows somebody who needs a fun lunchbox!!!
