Homg! That owl purse is freakin cute! XD I totally love it. <3 Grin I also -love- the scarf. *__* I tried that pattern before and it didn't turn out pretty like the scarf at all. ;--; lol I also adore the color pattern. <3

A few people seem to be having this same problem.  Maybe we all should have waited until everyone was done their item and then posted pictures.  Remember, it's the best of what YOU make - so put your best into an item and then offer it up without worrying.  This isn't a competition, it's fun!!  There are going to be all different talents and no one should look down on anyone else!

I love the bracelet and necklace set! I love that it is in silver tones, too. That owl bag is fan-tas-tic!! I would love to carry that around. And, the scarf is beautiful- I haven't attempted broomstick lace, yet, I've been too chicken! And, the color is beautiful- I'll have to look for that the next time I'm yarn shopping (I've never seen it before...the Simply Soft selection near me is kind of lame...).

i hadn't seen it before the trip i went searching for yarn for the scarf.
i was a lil scared of the broomstick lace at first, but now i'm like, addicted to it.  the only thing is that you really have to keep count of your stitches since they have to be divisible by 4.

I have a broomstick lace tutorial saved, but I have serious problems with gauge and tension, so I'm worried that mine will come out all wonky. And, since I don't want to get all aggravated by it, I've been putting it off. I have to count my stitches for almost everything I do, so that's not a big deal. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and give it a go once the summer hits...if I don't get your scarf in the raffle, I'll have to attempt one of my own Wink
