So I am trying to put together a felting-on-stuff craft night next week, on Thursday the 27th, in the evening. If anyone is interested in felting soap, felting around objects, or felting beads/dreads, and might want to come to a night of wooly fun in Boulder, drop me a pm for more info. Wool and soap will be provided, and cats will be present.

Small people would be welcome, with the caveat that it is not a child-proof space.

So on Sunday June 1 (a long ways off, I know), I'm hosting an easy-batik afternoon at my place. We'll be using soy wax and the low water immersion dye with procion, like this:

If you're interested in coming, send me a pm and I'll send you details.

Oh my god, ptarmic wumpus, I had no idea you were in Colorado! I moved out here last here and I'm in Arvada now. You were in Use what You Have and the Sheep Swap, right?

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

Yep, those swaps were two years ago or so?

I might try and do a holiday craft thing at my house later in the fall, have to see how the schedule works out....

ps. there is a handweavers guild in Boulder that does a lot of sheep-related stuff.  They meet really close to my house, but I have schedule conflicts and almost never actually make it to meetings  Roll Eyes
