Hey people in Sacto,
Do you know any really great fabric stores? (Besides Joann's, beverly's, and the likes.)

I'm from Chico... it's about 2 hours north from Sac...

It's not CHINO... everyone thinks it's Chino, not Chico. Even Arnold.

I've never really done much crafting with linen and the like. But while I was getting hitched I did rustle up some cheap, nice ribbon from Michael's in Natomas.

P.S. For some reason I couldn't help but use my midwestern slang during this post. *hangs head*

I'm from Lodi! (Near Stockton/Sacramento, in case anyone's unfamiliar with my lovely hometown). I just moved back about a week ago, & I'll be staying for about 5 months before I go back to school in Sweden. Yeah, it's a bummer there aren't more craft/fabric stores around here... I only know of the Joanne's & Michael's type stores. I really want a cool yarn & quilting store, that hopefully offers lessons in stuff I want to learn! Alas...
& I knew it was Chico, too! I've never heard anyone call it Chino... isn't that somewhere in So. CA?

Favorite moment of the year?  That commercial when m8888888 dropped her towel and jumped naked into the arms of Tony Danza.
