I made a few more Varmint Voodoo dolls.  I'll ease up on new editions for awhile though, so this will likely be the last you'll see of new ones for a bit. [craftsters exhale a sigh of relief]

I had this great image of an armadillo, but the bit of research I did only described them as nuisances on roads (we don't have them where I live).  I did learn that they are diggers, so I figured they must be pests for gardeners.  Nofury set me straight, that indeed they are reviled wreckers of gardens and yards... so I finally felt like I could justify making one and putting it in the shop.

Look at that face!  It would've been a shame to not use it, right?

I received a special request for a bear, a crow and a raccoon from Vermont.  I already had done a raccoon, but hadn't done them for sale.  Here are those three:

These are the pins they come with for pokin:

these are too cute!  wonder if they would sell at the local garden club meeting?  ground squirrels (AKA chipmunks) are also loathed and hated by many.  they <3 2 tunnel.  my dad is in a (seemingly) lifelong battle with them.

I love animals, too.  Here's the verbiage that goes with the Varmints:
Varmint Voodoo dolls are for those times when you have tried every humane thing you can think of to rid your yard, garden, home and life of these creatures, but are still plagued by them. No real or imagined hexes have been placed on Varmint Voodoo dolls, but dang if you dont feel a little better after poking one with a pin* (three included).

Approx: 7 x 6 x 1.75; its just the right size for humanely taking out your frustrations with your particular varmint(s)! This is a toy for grown-ups only; kids and pets already have enough toys. Watch out; pins are sharp!

Bubble Off Plumb Productions Inc. is a smoke-free, cat- & dog-friendly, potpourri-unfriendly studio. The Varmint Voodoo doll pictured may not be your actual Varmint. Each is handmade and may vary slightly, but all key Varmint features are the same.

*No one at Bubble Off Plumb Productions Inc. or anyone we willingly associate with endorses or approves of harming animals.

I do have an etsy store... ahem... and the crow/raven/blackbird will be making an appearance there.  I'm also friendly to personal swapping.

Thanks!  I do have a squirrel, but not a ground squirrel/chipmonk (yet).  I need to catch up on orders, finish getting my packaging finalized (I've a small order for a farm stand/gift shop) and turn my over run basement studio/office into a guest room in the next couple few days.  Plus there's my "real" job - so... I must force myself to ease off the Varmints for awhile and attend to other things.  SOOOOooooOOOO difficult.

I kept seeing this red eyed Armadillo and had to stop in and comment!  Super Cool!

I live in NW Texas where we see a lot of armadillo's.  Yep, they do dig in the yard, but not like big deep holes.  I don't find them as nuisances, but I suppose others do.  They are really cool lil' creatures though.  They come out at night mostly, which is why we see a lot of dead ones on the sides of the roads.  Poor lil' armadillos.

Anyhow, never heard of Varmint Voodoo Madness, but looks like you're having fun!  LOL

Thanks dollmaker!

PoodlyBooty - Thanks and there's not really any Varmint Voodoo Madness other than I've just posted quite a few of these over the last few weeks is all and they're taking over my living room is all.   Wink
