From a large Wednesday 13 shirt. Spectacular, I know xD
Oh, and I got the red fabric from a Hell Bunny skirt I never wore and had dissected.

It wasn't hard to make at all, once I had figured out a pattern. At first the back part was too big ("I" and "want" were on separate lines), so I had to cut all of the words out and sew them on the back of another piece of fabric. That turned out really good. And I had lots of fun with the eyelets xD I recently bought a Crop-A-Dile which I had been dying to test it out and this was the perfect opportunity! I love that thing Tongue Speaking of, the four extra eyelets weren't intentional xD I just ran out of ribbon.

I think it turned out pretty good. Except the white strip at the top.
It was so stupid; first I had made that part out of the red tartaney fabric and the straps out of the white fabric and it looked awesome and was completely finished on Thursday and I thought: "Wow, for the first time I won't have to rush my outfit the morning before the thing." (I was going to my fourth W13 concert the next day and wanted to wear it then)

BUT. I had overlooked one teensy little detail. THE RED FABRIC DIDN'T STRETCH. So after I had forced myself in it, I came to the sad conclusion that the top part was wayyyy too tight and looked like crap. Then, about an hour before I had intended to leave, I had to neatly get that part off and make a new one out of fabric that did stretch. Which is why it's so crooked now Tongue

It didn't look so bad when I had it on though. In fact, it was a perfect fit Smiley I don't know why it looks so big on my dress form. It's my size. And I got lots of compliments on it ^^ Shame I didn't see Wednesday himself after the concert this time...

Ahem, anyway. Here's a virtual cookie if you actually read all of that xD
I tend to ramble with these things.

On with the pictures!

(The white square with the star is a pocket. I can get so annoyed at pocket-less clothes, especially at concerts)

So, what do you think? As people who are not Wednesday 13 fans who can't sew themselves Tongue

But it's sad and it's sweet

I've always wanted to make a dress like that but I'm too afraid I'll mess it up Sad

I love yours though!

wonderful! I love wed 13 and this is a great way to show your love! He makes all his own stage clothes so it's always nice to see fans that do the same!

I made a bauhaus tee into a skirt when i went to see him last year and some chick showed up in an all bright pink playboy outfit with her cheeky buns hanging out.

great sewing, wish I could do that!
