Well, I have been a crafting fool!  I finished 3 small-medium size items.  I have two large projects planned.  My husband is wondering if the house is ever going to get clean or he will ever have a hot meal again!

My partner is so easy to craft for!  I have a gazillion ideas; I just need to start narrowing down which ones I want to do.  I love the long period of time to craft, but it gives me too much time to think of new projects!

Goodness, everybody is already so into crafting! I feel like a slacker now.

I've just been hit with two really in-depth projects for school (For one of them, I'm making a civil war dress for AP US History, and I don't know how to sew worth anything. It's a...um...learning experience?) But school's almost out, so I'll be able to start really soon. (:

Civil war clothing is evil...LOL I just finished an enlisted man's (confederate) jacket. It was pure evil. I found a board in the process that may help.

Yay I love this swap. It's nice to just be able to craft whatever, I love themed swaps so much but I will have to admit it's a nice change to just craft requests.

I love it that I don't have to wait to know who my partner is!  The waiting kills me!

I had to laugh when I saw your comment superhooker cause I just read your comment over in the "two things combined" swap board. I completely agree though cause I always feel a huge wave of relief when I find out my partner and I can get to work.

I think I'm fond of the IYP swaps because it's so much fun to open your PM box and have an invite in there. It's total shock to suddenly have someone interested in crafting for you and you for them. It made my day at least Smiley

bkrenning4  I love your avatar, because everytime I am checking the board and my 2yo son see it, he tries to make all those Calvin faces, oh God! you all must see it, it is so hilarious  Cheesy LOL

I went downtown today, for some detalis I've missed to buy, I should be ready to continue, and I really want to jump over the sewing machine, but I feel soooo bad today, I have a soar throat (I think that is the word for it) and absolutley need to rest a little. I hope I can continue both of current projects, I am so excited, and want to make the fourth  Cheesy

Wow, you guys are so fast!! I have most of the stuff I'm making for Scrapnqueen planned out, but I've only started on one item. I'm going shopping for supplies either today or tomorrow. I need to get going though, because I'm going on vacation half way through the swap, and I don't know how much time I'll have for crafting. I'll be sending Scrapnqueen some souvenirs from around the centre of Australia though! Smiley
