I think I'll join in as well, I've been meaning to make a new dress.
With perfect timing, I'm moving in two weeks, so I'll probably start two and a half weeks from now.

I'm thinking a black dress with white boob parts.

I washed but haven't ironed or cut my linen yet. We now have about 1/2 of our kitchen put back together (the usable part - the base cabinets and tall pantry cabinets). On a side note, I bought the slush mugs for my kids for Easter and I bought an extra one for me! I found them at perpetualkid.com (well, nostalgic win found them at perpetual kid and I followed a link).

How are you guys doing?

nearly completed - just have hem and top stitch left plus I have to erase my marks (hot pink water sol pen on green linen stands out!)

will be back to post pictures when I find my camera cord.

I think I will join this Smiley  Making a sundress or 5 is on my list for the 50 projects craftalong...not to mention I live in FL where it is pretty much ETERNAL SUMMER...and of course is now in the 90s almost everyday  Undecided

Here is something I made recently, is basically a LONG version of the smock top pattern from Sew Simple magazine several editions ago

Yeah, I know the stripes don't meet in the back, but I kinda like the look of it.  I have plans to make Simplicity 2642 for the long maxi dress, also would like to make a short version of it too...not sure if this link will work or not...

I have several patterns from my mother I have plans to make, and I LOVE the 2 McCalls patterns posted in the initial reply on here, 5654 and 5659 Smiley

I'm just now starting a sundress - first personal sewing project in months!  My previous attempts all failed and I gave up during a period of busyness with other of life's little interruptions.   Cry  Maybe this time I'll actually finish a project and have something to show....
