I needed more button up shirts for work so I decided to take a stab at making my own.
First I cut up an old button up shirt that fit nicely to use as a pattern.

Then I cut up an old skirt I had that was made from a very delicate Indian Silk.
I put some little capped sleeves on and used a black thread for stitching detail.
I finally used how to use my buttonhole stitch on my Singer so I added tons of buttons!

That's soo pretty!  The fabric is gorgeous, but you really hit the construction right.  The sleeves are cute!
