Hello!

So i havent posted for a while, but im particularly proud of this!

We have a winter ball in our med school, and is a very lovely event. I really wanted to look nice, but couldnt face the long trawl of dress shopping and the expense! I have never gone for a floor length dress before, and always thought they were a bit frumpy, so i glammed mine up a bit!

I made it up as i went along, its made from a beautiful soft chiffon that my mum bought me.

me and my friends (im in the dark green)

a side view of the cut

THE BACK! my favourite bit! The glass studs are vintage that i found at a flea market.

im afraid i am a very sloppy sewer and would hate you to see the inside, but i was pleased with how it came out.

It only malfunctioned towards the end of the night... i ended up with quite a bit of bra on show, but never mind!!

comments appriciated,
xx

Looks really nice!!  The inside might have been a mess, but the outside looked great!  LOOOVE the cut on the back!

Wow! I love this dress. I have actually been looking on this site for inspiration for a Christmas party dress for myself. Yours has really inspired me, especially the color. Thanks for the post!
