Any interest in one?  Child or adult size?

I'd love to participate! Either child or adult poncho's fine with me. Am I right that we'll all be doing the same pattern? This will be my first crochetalong, so sorry if that's a dumb question  Grin

ROFL, beats the heck out of me.  I was just reading the first crochetalong thread and saw a few people had mentioned interest in a crochetalong for a poncho... the only crochetalong that has been done so far is the convertible mitten/fingerless glove one, and I believe they all used the same pattern ~ just with their own variations as to yarn, size, whether to leave the flap, etc.  So if we followed their example, we'd all use the same basic pattern, but with our own touches. Make sense?

Yeah, a crochetalong entails everyone doing the same pattern and posting their results.

If you'd like to do another one, you could always start a new crochetalong.. Something simple would be nice, since I've been a "beginner" for the last year and a half... :|

I'm working on a poncho right now - it's from McCalls Crochet Treasury. It's basically 2 huge grannies joined w/some rows at the shoulders. I think it will be lovely. Will post it when I'm finished. The pattern is very simple and if I can make the time I'll post it, too.

count me in, my first project was a poncho. I only crochet it twice. It was for my wee girl, first time it fitted my 6ft hubby (but pink isn't his colour!)

I like caplet, i'm tepted to just give it ago anyway
