Amazing, amazing.  I love the feel of all that fiber spilling out.  Great example of what a lovely altered book is all about.

Phizzy, I looked through all the posts, and I didn't see the following question asked... (hopefully I didn't skip right by it! lol)

where do you get all of your materials from? do you buy them from craft stores? or are they found objects? how long does it take you to collect enough stuff for one page?

Thanks!

Thank you!

There aren't really any craft stores where I live, so it's mostly found objects or online purchases or things people have kindly sent to me. I love that by finding things this way the pages become one-off personal artworks rather than anything which could be mass produced. I love finding paper things on the street to use, or using entry tickets or labels off things. It becomes very personal then, a journey.

Pages can take any amount of time, from 30 minutes up to several days if I don't finish them in one go. Cheesy

This is so amazing. Your work is simply beautiful and inspiring! I love it so much, makes me wish it was on my shelf so I could look at it  Cheesy  I love all your bright colors!!

I do have a question, how many pages was the book originally and how many did it end up being after you were done?

Thank you!

The numbered pages go to 159, but there are a few pages that aren't numbered too. I left them all as they were, so there's the same number as there were originally.

Wow! That's so many pages. I bet it's a little thick now from all the embellishments ^^ I wanted to have a go at an altered journal, but the book I was going to use is about 300+ pages... too much!
