This is a work in progress, I'm working on it throughout this year. Hopefully I'll have it filled by the end of the year. Sometimes I'll work on a few pages at once, sometimes nothing for a week or so.

UPDATE: Well, it took me a little longer, but it's all finished! Grin

Here are some finished photos of the book!

My bloke bought me a packet of pencils with my name on and the barcode at the back was perfect to use!! Just my name & the code.

And a few of my favourite random pages:

I've created books for specific events before, but nothing random like this. I'm finding that it makes a really good place to try out techniques and ideas.

Some selected pages...

Phew, the end! Cheesy Thanks for looking!

ETA: I have worked on this book as part of the Altered Journal craftalong. If anyone is interested in making (or is currently working on) their own altered journal, and would like to join, the craftalong is here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=248633.0

Fantastic job, Phizz!

I've tried the art journal thing before and just can't seem to get it off the ground.

Oh Phizzy!  I love the garden page with all the leaves and the olive and button page too.  The whole thing is absolutely gorgeous

The pages are so bright and colourful!  The 'Olives and Buttons' page is my fav!  Can't wait to see what else you'll be adding to your altered journal Smiley

Thank you!

Yeah, sometimes I find it difficult to know where to start with a blank page, but I'm dertermined to keep at it since I love the look of finished journals so much. 21 pages down, 143 to go! Cheesy

OMGosh that is awesome!!! I am so in awe of your talent!
If I tried to do something like that - I would mess up the first or second page and give up!!!!!
(mine would definitely have to be done in a loose leaf binder lol)
Colorful - beautiful - fun!!!
I love it!

Thanks! The good thing about collage is that you can cover up any errors and make them look planned all along! Wink

I love it! For some reason it reminded me of a movie call MirrorMask, which I love! The graphic and such.
