Ok, my youngest son had to make up an invention for his science fair project. Well we came up with this design. Doggie Duster Busters!  They are helpful around the house, and good for the environment.  Only if you can get your dog to wear and then walk around in them.  Of course Mom had to design and then crochet them up.  Poor Athena was not very happy with having to wear them.  2 skeins of cotton yarn, a dog, a kid with an idea hopefully an A in science!

Athena was so happy with the entire thing, we had to snatch them off her feet so she and other other dog, Phanes, wouldn't rip them to shredds!! Notice the strategic placement of son hugging/holding dog....

I think maybe Ill make these for my cat. He's crazy and literally runs all over the apartment. So much less dusting...

I hope he gets an A! He deserves it for sure, especially with me wanting to adapt it for my kitty. Smiley

Thanks everyone for the kinds words.  Update, Athena (my dog) has finally allowed us to touch her feet again.  So no more socks on her.  Science project should be graded in a few days.  I love the stories about other peoples pets.  So funny.  I have a mean crazy cat that would bite me to death if I ever even tried putting anything on him, anywhere!
