Cheesy lol.. and the pleatness purse is awesome! i love the fabrics! and the mini-oven mitts are sooo cute! i wish i would have thought of something like that... i'll definably use them when i make the brownie mix you sent! when i opened up the box at the post office, i had a huge grin on my face, it was like you knew me! the fabric was perfect, where did you get the tattoo one?

yay! so glad you got them! You can wind them into center pull or normal balls.
let me know if you want any more info on the yarns.
I was just about to PM you and ask! for some reason craftster hates me and has not been putting this post or the original swap post in my "replies" section, so i have to search it out every time i want to check on everyone's progress on the swap, hence my being so quiet on the boards. *sigh*

hey karma, you mind if i post pictures, or do you?

Hey everyone! I got my package (it's lovely!) and I will be posting pictures and sending my package at the end of the weekend, but I have kind of a dumb question...so all of my little lumps of handspun are wound into those twisty thingies (are they called hanks? I don't know...)...so how do I start crocheting with the yarn? Is it okay to wind the yarn into a ball or a center-pull skein, or will that mess with the quality somehow? I really don't want to ruin anything, but at the same time I desperately want to get to work with one of the yarns (a green one with brown poofs of something spun in...god, I'm such a n00b at this handspun yarn/fibers thing). Can anyone give me any help? Huh

PM'ed you back. Smiley What is the brown/purple one made out of? It feels kinda slippery and weird...not "bad" weird, just "I've never felt this" weird. Wink

BWA!! I sent really early and so I've been waiting for my package.. then I get it and forget to post picts  Roll Eyes
And it appears I can not take a decent pict to SAVE MY LIFE!!!  Shocked
Ignore the mess and the rip in the chair. Look at the pretty bags girlosun_9 made me.

They get a smile of approval from my tiny.

Infact that purple one has become her snack sack. It holds snacks and her water bottle and she doesn't drag it! Its a fantastic purple patchwork.
The other one is a black and pinck clutch and there is a flowered tote that I think has knitting bag all over it.
THANKS!!

I received from Raynbow! It's really nice! There's a skein of purple, a skein of blue, and then one smaller one of the two plied together!!! That's a fantastic way to make sure I can use them together for one project!

I just have to figure out what to make... maybe a scarf?!
Thanks again, Raynbow, and thanks organizers!

Favorite moment of the year?  That commercial when m8888888 dropped her towel and jumped naked into the arms of Tony Danza.
