I received my wonderful package from yelutci yesterday, which was a perfect way to end an otherwise rainy, chilly and gray day! 

After seeing all the things she crafted, I'm completely envious of her crocheting skills!

She made me three amigurumis, two of which will be finding a home with my nephew and younger cousins (I think I may have to keep the gnome  )




(I love the little tuft of hair at the top.. so cute!)



In addition, she also crocheted this beautiful set of dishcloths.. They're so pretty that I'm already scared to use them! I especially love the colors of the round cloth.  The blue is so vibrant!



She ALSO sent a set of US14 bamboo DPNs that I think will be perfect to use to knit up some Chrismas stockings and a pair of earrings on a fortune. (She sent a good fortune, too!  )





Now, not only will I have all these wonderful things to use in my house and to share with my family, I'll also have a nice month to look forward to.

maiziemama sent me the most gorgeous yarn!  one skein is aran weight, pale green, with lovely darker green, grey, cream, and blue highlights, and the other is a rich blue with purple and green accents.  my absolute favorite colors!  she also included a fabulous print (made by her friend) that already has pride of place in my sewing room.  i LOVE love everything!!  thank you so much, maiziemama!

just what i need to lug the kiddos stuff to go swimming this summer! the purple print that the lining is made of is fab!

plus she made me  a matching checkbook cover and change purse!  and passed along an intriguing book to read at the beach!
