Okay...I think I have a cool idea... now, if I can pull it off...

I actually bought something tonight (boy do I love Google and PayPal) that I can use for my plan... I have one other item I might need to pick up, if I can't find what I have already... might be faster to buy it than to look for it Wink

My goal is to get to the PO on my way to work on Tuesday... otherwise I have to wait to mail on Saturday, even though I'll be done by Tuesday!

That is why you only post OTT.....lol.  It is hard to do just ONE. Off to message partner.

How did you know my secret....I mean I would never go against the organizer's guidelines...it just fell into the envelope (all wrapped nicely in bubble wrap)  Cheesy

I always say what the organizer doesnt know wont hurt her! Grin

Then please do not read above post....really just OTT...the rest is just my personal swap in one envelope (got save on shipping since gas is so high)...yeah that's it... Cheesy

I should think they will just get stuck in the melted plastic. I just shrunk a bunch of scraps to try fusing (and attempt #1 at Imagine's OTT, which failed Angry) and I intend to use flatback rhinestones with mine Cheesy

ohhhh that sounds pretty and sparkly!!  fusion is a tricky number...I notice if you put it in too long it yellows a bit.   I love to do fusion stuff....I want to try the embossing powder and beads and  punching out some small bits and swirling it around when it's hot!  lots of shrinky goodness today!

Not sure if anyof you know this but i will say it anyway

if you rough up your shrink plastic with fine sand paper you images stay better.
Also if you use sharpies which we do alot.

first your rough up shrink plastic with fine sand paper
second trace or draw your image with sharpie (coloring optional of course)
third let your drawing sit for a little while (approx. 20 minutes) it gives the markers you used time to dry before you shrink it

Getting ready to cut out and shrink up my project! (Well, as soon as I can find the darn hole puncher that is.) Let's hope it comes out better than last night's first-ever attempts at ink jet shrinky dinks. First try - utter failure. Second try - eh. Third try - not half bad. There's more learning curve with the ink jet stuff it seems.

Oh well...let's see how it turns out. *fingers crossed*
