I love it!!

Anything that keeps plastic out of the environment is great in my book.

What a fabulous idea - and I definitely liked the lived in hat look. Nancy looks so good in it, I'm guessing this is her hat now? How difficult do you think it would be for someone who has never crocheted before to attempt? I'm quite tempted as I've big head and most sun hat's just perch, rather unflattering on top of it.

I don't know if she wants it; she mentioned that it looked like "an 80's hat" to her.  Not sure if that's good or bad.

To me, the plarn was easier to use than some yarns I've tried.  Plus, since whatever you crochet will have that "straw" look, boo boos don't show as easily.  It does have "knots" in it from joining the loops, which, if you try to pull out your stitches too fast, WILL break the plarn.  I've read where people have said their hands hurt from crocheting with it, but that doesn't happen with me.  Try it!

Thanks for the compliments everyone  Smiley

It's awesome!

I've been told by friends who work at grocery stores that those "recycling" bins for your plastic bags get emptied into their dumpster, so don't feel bad about cleaning them out!

Xylophone!

I make toys during summer, they're light and I don't have to wear them to show them off.

Never mind that it's winter here.

And here's an artistic shot.
