I need to ask a huge favor?

Can someone post a picture of a signed quilt block?  I just can't wrap my head around how it should be done, and I'm sure it's just a simple thing, but I want to make sure I'm doing it properly!

I posted one earlier in this thread, although the point is going the wrong way. I will poste one that is correct later today

That is because #1, my partner does not want signatures, and #2 this is a practice block. You will note the point is going in the wrong direction. Several people were posting sbout challenges they were having with the blocks, and I decided to share mine as well.

I don't think I made clear what I was asking, sorry.

I would like to see what the signature looks like on the block.  Where and how big and things like that.  I've never signed my block before, so that's what's concerning me.

Anyone wanna help a good cause and buy a sonography class cookbook so I can go to a seminar in September? They are $15 alone, and $20 with handmade potholders. PM me!

I'll make one with a signature, and post it so you can see.

That would be great! Thanks so much! (I'm only signing one of my blocks but I don't want to mess it up!)

Hurrah!  It only took me one practice block to get my seam allowances to where they should be.  So I've got one orphan, and one sendable block.  Now once my husband gets back into town tomorrow, maybe I can crank them all out this weekend!  Especially since it's supposed to be crappy and rainy here all weekend.

Here is an example of how I like to sign my blocks. I have used my craftster name on this one, the year, and have drawn in a little cactus. Most people like to add the year, sometimes the month, sometimes also the city or state they live in. I have seen people draw little sewing tools by the autograph, or any little picture that they feel represents them. There is no wrong way to do this, just remember where the seam allowance will be.
