This is the biggest thing I have EVER made!

I'm really happy with it.  The top of the duvet cover is backed with a sheet and quilted in the ditch.  The back of the duvet cover is a 100% cotton sateen sheet.  Fabrics for the top are all from stash (yay).

My small apartment leads to some creative maneuvering for this big of a project:

I had to sit on the top as I pieced it to pin the next row.

And, the duvet cover goes nicely with the new "art" I made for my bedroom walls:

(I seem to be a bit stuck on the same color palette lately...  Cheesy)

Wow! That is really pretty! And I love your wall art too  Grin Blue and brown are my favorite color combination right now.

Can you explain how you did the circles? Did you just tuck the edges under and sew it on top?

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!

Can you explain how you did the circles? Did you just tuck the edges under and sew it on top?

I used a lazy quick method to attach each circle to the light colored fabric squares, and then to attach the light colored fabric squares to the large squares.  I just zig-zagged around the cut out piece and then went back after the pieces were attached to the large squares and quilted each one in a spiral.

I really like your duvet cover. I have been thinking about trying quilting. It seems like so much work, and I'm not sure how easy it would be on a regular sewing machine. This seems do-able.  Did you design it yourself or is it from a pattern?
