I made a teacup pincushion!

I'm so excited about this project, I just had to post right away! I've been wanting to make a teacup pincushion like forever, but I haven't found any teacups that I liked... Then I was at the thrift store today and I found the perfect set! I also got three little table cloths/doilies to use for the cushion part - reduce, reuse! Smiley

This was such a fun project! I really like how the first one turned out... The lazy daisies could have been a bit neater, but hey I've still got two more cups! The one that turns out best is going to be a birthday gift for my mom - I hope she'll like it!

Thanks for looking! I'm off to make the second one  Cheesy

These are beautiful.  I love this idea.  I've been looking for an idea like this with "weight" to it.Your cups are so darn pretty.

Your mother will love this!  I love this -- can I be your mother?  Smiley

How did you get everything to stick in the cup?

Thanks! I would offer to do a personal swap but I'm not sure the cup would survive International post... :/ The cushion part was glued into the cup with super glue.

This is a really good idea! I have cups that are mini-sized like this.
