I really do. They are so annoying and loud and they don't appreciate just how great it is to be a kid. I especially hate the parents that turned them into the stupid brats they are!

You're not alone! I hate them too.

Oprah - I personally don't feel much one way or the other about Oprah, but I'd rather people get into hysterics about what she says on her talk show than say, Jerry Springer or something.

Kids - They're everywhere, aren't they?

Writing - I agree with everyone else - just write!  It's freeing in a sense.  I would love to actually make a living off my writing, but that's a pipe dream for me.  I still try, though.  You might want to check out www.nanowrimo.org this November and try your hand at writing a 50,000 word novel in a month.  The point is the quantity, not the quality, so it helps to get over those "I'm not good enough!" blocks.

It says: It really hurt my feelings when you wouldn't stop talking about not being invited to the bar.  At least you were invited to the movie which is more than I can say.  You guys never invite me to go out, you never even call me.  Some friends you turned out to be.  I hate you!

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting a post card yet, I thought someone was genuinely mad at me when I got it!  I'm glad you can vent to us, maybe soon you will feel comfortable enough to let your "friends" know how you feel Smiley

I used to always feel like that about my friends. So what did I do? I blew em off and haven't talked to them in a year and honestly, I couldn't be happier. No more drama, no more pissing me off, no more of any of that.

I'll be sending my stuff out on tuesday, when the post office is open again.

Regarding the cards:

Oprah? Can't stand her!

Kids? Ack! Hell no! I despise them. Except when they're zombies. Or holograms. Then they're bearable. But I understand. There's too many of them!

I totally know the writing thing too. I've been on-off working on my novel for a good three years. Finally reaching the end but its not very good at all.

And I know people like that who are supposedly friends. Especially my college class. They were supposed to be friends but in the two years we hung out, I got invited out a total of 1 time. They went yout four nights a week with each other. Nice to feel appreciated!  Oh well, at least they get a whack in the metaphorical face when i told them where to stick it after we finished the course! Then I came to uni! And now, it is better.

I'm making a blanket for my uni room as it gets so cold! If you can make/spare any 5X5 inch squares of crochet, I'd happily swap you for something! Please PM me!

The one about not being invited out has beautiful illustrations on it.  It's a sad secret though.  You are doing great by not letting their bitchyness get to you.  I say drop them and find better people to hang out with Smiley

Friends- What a pretty card! I used to have a couple "friends" like that.  They're not worth your time if they treat you like that!

Friends ~ I remember I invited everyone to my Birthday party and while they were all there with me they started talking about what they were going to do next, never once asking if I wanted to join them, never even caring that I was in the room listening to them talk about it. ...it pretty much broke my heart when they left. It felt like they only came over for free food then had better things to do.

Friends - I have had similar experiences, it always hurt so much. Those people aren't worth your time.
