I always had a slightly different spin with this swap - Everyone uses a disposable camera. You take the photos and then send your partner the camera - not developed.
I would love to take the camera to the store to get the photos developed and have no idea what i'd be getting.
I know it's pretty much the same - but this seems more exciting to me!

Yes I was actually really disappointed with the last "Disposable Camera Swap" since pretty much NO ONE used disposable cameras! I mean, isn't that the point? They cost very little and I think it is a lot more fun too. I honestly would not join again unless it was disposable camera REQUIRED (so maybe change the name to something else if no one is using disposable cameras!!!!)

The first disposable camera swap I was in, I did use a disposable camera.  Unfortuately, only about 9 pictures on the whole roll turned out, same with my partner that used a disposable camera.  They were blurry or just black.  Thats why the second time round I switched to digital.  Just remember as your taking the pictures that manual focus cameras and digital cameras spoil you!

I think the mystery of whether or not the pictures came out on the disposable camera is all part of using a disposable.  With digital, there's no surprise, which is good when you need a picture to turn out.  Disposables are fun because of the mystery!

The first time I did this swap we could choose which category we would like to fall into, and I think we should keep that option. That was the die-hard film buffs have mystery tours and the digitalophiles have security/immediacy. Cheesy

Sounds like fun.  Takes me back to my photography classes in college Cheesy
I'm up for it.  I really like the idea of using a disposable camera as well, magadoo.  That would be the fun part I would think.
