Have you gone through the cabinets now looking for other items to trim down for bow making?  I would have done that and covered up the story by saying I was reorganizing the cabinets (which actually needs to be done thanks to the grab and pull then shove back in method we have going right now....)

I've eyed the tuna can, but since I don't cook or even assemble much in the way of "meals" it's take me forever to go through enough tuna to make a bow!  And with the mercury issue... I'll stick with the cat food, although I suppose I could cut down a standard-sized can label. Hmmmmmm
