This is a fantastic idea.  Thank you for taking the time to make a tute also.  This is perfect.  I need to gift wrap something and I need only a bow and ribbon.  Thanks for the inspiration.

WOW! This looks so easy, and those bows can get pretty pricey!

I have always been able to find brads at regular stores like K-mart and Target. Or even Walmart. Check by the staples and paper clips.

Thanks so much for the great tutorial!!  I had a birthday gift to wrap and used the same paper I wrapped the gift in to make matching bows.  It looks so awesome!!  Thanks again for the inspiration.  Marj

yeah, Staples! They got that! as in office supply stores. You can get fancy ones in craft stores, scrapbook stores, etc. One could use an awl or pushpin for the initial hole. I think some of the "making memories" tool kits have a stiletto or awl in them. Scrapbook section.

Thanks for posting this idea. I love it. My sister as been complaining to me for a couple of years about not being able to find a good place to pass on old magazines. This will help us both.
