Update!  Omg, you were not kidding when you said that these were addicting!  I sat down last night and starting making these at 8pm.  Three hours later I had 22 bows.  The only reason I stopped was because it was past bedtime.  I'm off to a great start!  Mother's day is going to be bow filled!  My brads are small and pointy and I haven't had a problem pushing them threw the paper one by one and not using a seam ripper.  Yes, I've stabbed myself in the thumb with the brad a bunch, but at least it wasn't with the seam ripper!  Yikes, that has to hurt!

After several months of lurking I am finally posting for the first time.  I wanted to say thank you for this awesome project.  I have had a bunch of magazines laying around for awhile and hated to throw them away.  I sat down yesterday and made 50 of these Bows.  I can't wait to show my friends and family!  Thank you for the idea and the tute.

Thanks for the tutorial! Using a brad is a great idea; it makes it so much easier! Just made a bow like this using movie film for a friend of mine who's a total movie buff

This is fantastic! I've been looking for "GREEN" creative things to do for my June Creative Art Workshop and this will be a great addition. I will have to post some photos of some of the bows we make at the workshop
