Hi. I'm a newbie and soon to be Craftster-addict. I've been at home sick all weekend but I've had just enough energy and a bit of creativity so I decided to make this checkerboard wallet (or business card holder). It only has 2 pockets.
I wont be doing another one like this any time soon. It was a pain, but it turned out alright.

I haven't made 10 posts yet so I can't post the actual photos. Here are the links.

I cut the fabric into 1/2" strips. (I used an acrylic awning fabric that doesn't fray/unravel)

I actually glued the red strips to the plastic clip-board to hold them down so I could weave them together.

The inside - 2 pockets for credit cards/license, etc.

The outside - this folds in half. My stitching isn't very straight. The sewing machine foot kept catching on the next row of fabric.
