Another good idea is to use record type. I've crocheted all my 80yy hits. Record type is good not only for bags but for hats too.

how big a hook did you use?  I'm into the whole re-use bags at the market thing so these would be great!

I started using bigger hooks...I dont know what size exactly. It came in a four pack of big chunky plastic hooks. But using larger hooks makes it a quicker and easier project!
