This is a great pattern.  Can't figure out why Knitty didn't pick this up.  I think it would appeal to women of all ages.  Thanks for letting us in on this beautiful pattern.

I'm not knit addicted.  Really, I can stop anytime I want... probably.

That's really beautiful. I love that it has those feminine details without being over fussy. Very wearable. Hope to get to this over the summer (as soon as my sewing projects are done!)

I agree that Knitty passed up a great pattern.  I'd definitely knit this.  Thanks for sharing!

That is very pretty. I like that it is simple and you can actually wear it. I can't tell you how many things I've made that rarely ever get worn.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I've been on the look out for a summer top that isn't a tank top and this is perfect. Beautiful, feminine, cool and wearable. Knitty's loss is our gain  Grin

So nice!  I cast on today using some Patons Grace from my stash - I am going to run out before it's finished though, so I'm not sure what to do...  I feel the color I'm using may have been discontinued, but I don't think stripes suit the simplicity.

I already have a question.  Smiley  When you say to knit until it's 2.8 inches from the curved hem - do you mean from the longest part or the shortest part?

Yeah, knitty must have had LOADS of other submissions to reject this. It's ridiculously nice, and really perfects a balance between simplicity and complicatedness.

This is what I strive for! I'm glad it comes through. Simple shapes, but with something to keep it interesting and, importantly, to keep the knitter interested.
