OK!  After seeing some fantastic double knit stuff, I decided to teach myself how to it.  This is the end result!





It's close to 7feet long!!  I wanted to cry several times through the process....   Tongue  Anywho.... my own charts....  Uhm.... Yeah.  Hope you like!

Let me be the first (and probably not the last) to say THIS ROCKS!  Oh my gosh, that's too cute, and I think your tears were well worth it given the final product!

I just picked up crochet (after years of only being able to knit single color in a straight line) but you may have convinced me to take out my needles again.  That's fan-freaking-tastic!

Did you teach yourself or were there any tutorials you used to do the double knitting?  - I ask because I really want to have a go but I am having a little trouble getting the hang of the whole idea.
