I love buttons and I couldn't wait for the swap to start so I made these.

Whoo buttons! These are really cool.  I especially like the colours used in the first one.

They are really pretty!  I love the blue one, especially.

I know people have made button jewelry before, but something about the simplicity of these and how you've put them in size and color order just makes them totally rockin'.  Smiley

very cute especially with the poke-a-doted background. I have always been a fan of buttons where do you find nifty ones like these?

your button necklaces are so cute! how did you attach the big green one that doesn't have the standard holes, and that i'm assuming has a shank on the back? i mean, obviously you could thread a wire through the shank, but then the button wouldn't face out properly, so did you do something special?

yay for buttons!

Thanks everyone!

Yep, I just threaded the buttons together with wire. The green one does have a shank on the back, I looped the wire around it, which seems to work. Nothing special.

I got the buttons from jumble sales, charity shops and family. I think these were all from a jumble sale. I was lucky to get two pint jars for 40p!
