Ecstatic - At the moment I would consider a swap for this dog. I just got back from the vet - $110 because he ate a tube of perscription cream my husband uses on his hands. Grrrr....

I got the most awesome indoor gardening/bento  kit from squidget today!

First, I grow the food. I got seeds (eggplant, chives, lettuce, radishes) and a watering can, as well as some little pegs to put in the soil label the plants.

and I will put the chives in my horrorpops pot! Squidget and I both like the horrorpops, a Danish psychobilly band, and I got to meet the singer last week and so I was super excited to get this.


then I will cook the food. I got two vintage cookbooks full of funny (and really yummy looking!) recipes, as well as an instructional booklet for the gardening and bento made by squidget. I also got a book on indoor gardening.

then I will eat the food and pack it cutely in a little box She gave me two ice cube molds that I will use for molding all kinds of stuff. She also sent some cute flower cookie cutters, hello kitty boxes and ice pack, pocky (yum! these have been eaten already), nori and some suspending gelatin stuff that I have never seen before but I'm curious to use. And stickers, too. wow!

and the thing i almost forgot to post because I was going to use it for lunch: a dinosaur sandwich cutter!


as you can see, I was super spoiled by squidget! I'll be getting some soil today and starting my little urban garden this week. Thanks squidget- I hope you enjoy your kit as much as I did mine!

That is such a creative package!!!!  I absolutely love it!  That watering can is adorable, and the little pot with your fave band on it is such a personal touch

Super glad that you liked it! I had a ton of fun putting everything together and learning about bento, I had acctually bought a cute box, then realizing you already had one, kept it and have been making my own little bento lunches!!!

I think my favorite item is the dinosaur sandwich cutter, it is so adorable! I've never seen anything like it. I would have loved it if my mom had one of those when I was little, because I would never eat the crust of my sandwich. That would make that problem disappear!

I got it at Target. They had one that cut it into two hearts too, but I saw that one everywhere online and went for something different.
