this rocks, ive always wanted a robot necklace, but i wanted to make it out of tiny junk metal peices, like the kind you find smashed in a parking lot...but this would be alot cuter.

Yeah, my original idea was to make it out of computer parts, like microchips and circuits, but cutting and making holes . . . ugh, too much work and too many tools to buy.

Luinecu, I don't know what wisting is, but it sounds flattering!

Wisting is where you add an object to a type of online want-list.  Its verry flattering.

Now on to my comment...

He is soooooo cute!  You did such a great job!  I'd totally pay money for one of these if it were availible to me!  And the chain is even better!

I adore this robot necklace.  The robot is so cute, and the chain is perfect.  Grin  I am wisting and rockin' right now!

Wow, I never expected this level of response.  I don't make stuff to sell, but this was really easy to make if you want to make your own.  If you don't have an old keyboard to take apart to trace the plastic, a similar design wouldn't be too hard to make on your own I think. You could just draw straight lines with a ruler and circles by tracing the end of a marker or something.  Or you might be able to find circuit board designs online you could trace.
