I love to solder. I made this piece with a 1-1/2" glass pebble that is flat on one side and domed on the other. I adhered an original picture from an old dictionary with paper glaze. I let it dry then put copper tape on the edge. You can use a bone folder (I cant find mine so I just use the side of a pen to smooth down all the wrinkles). Then you add paste flux with a paint brush.  Soldering round objects is a challenge. I have a clothes pin attached to a dowel rod to do this.

Great job!  This is exactly what I am wanting to learn to do!  Is there a tutorial somewhere?
