I took a pair of jeans from a thrift store and transformed them into a skirt. Then I picked up some discount fabric from the craft store and made a really simple belt to jazz it up a bit. Enjoy looking at my Zucchero Skirt! Thanks!

Sure. The pattern/instructions are in Simply Sewing by Judy Ann Sadler. But once you have that my advice would be, when you have pinned your flaps on front and back, before you sew pin up patches in the gap and hold up the skirt to make sure that the patches are even or at similar (though reverse) angles. I had to re-pin a few times before I got an angle I liked. I tried to make sure that the gap at the hemline was the same width front and back, though in retrospect it would've been ok to have the back wider than the front. Just experiment and have fun! Thanks for posting!
