I love plushies, but I never have time to make them!

I made these four during my first semester of college.

The first was a giraffe for my roommate/best friend. He is hot pink with green and orange giraffe spots. He also has her name "tattooed" on his back (she wants to get a giraffe back piece sometime soon). A broken wire bracelet is in his neck so it is bendable, but I wouldn't recommend trying to, as it pokes through the fabric when you bend it. He is 100% hand sewn and full of love and fabric scraps.

She likes him a lot.

The second is a joint venture with the aforementioned best friend. We hand sewed this cat (she is a much better hand sewer than me, so it looks way better than the giraffe) for a friend. He doesn't have a name, but is made from pink corduroy and purple mystery fabric (he is very soft).

We loved him, but couldn't keep him.

This Octopus is such a cutie with his big, google-y eyes, so I named him Oogly. Unfortunately I only got this one picture of him before he was given away as a birthday present.

The last (my favorite) is an orange and purple Sea Horse with buttons and a swirly. Emily forgot the word for Sea Horse and called him a Jelly Star for about 15 minutes while I tried to figure out what the heck she was talking about. Hence: Jelly Star! This one was also given away to a friend. Geez I need to keep some of my plushies for myself!

Purple side

With the giraffe!

Thanks for looking! This post really made me want to make some plushies today!
