This book is really cool. It was my moms in the eighties. It explains macrame, tie dye, batik, leater working, book binding, pottery, origami, drawing, weaving, basketry, mosiac work, woodworking, floral arrangement, etc, etc. Imagine my surprise when I see it's still in print!

It's great if you want to learn a new skill and want to make a few projects. The pictures are great, too.

I bought this book at Powel's bookstore in Portland, OR. I L-O-V-E it! It has all the crafts that I want to learn how to do plus tips for the ones I already know! I showed it to a friend who quilts & she was amazed at how detailed & "by the book" it is. I tell all my crafty friends about this book!
