anyone have ideas for tables, shelves and etc that i could make for when I go to college that will be functional, not hideous and cheap?  thank you!

Ikea should become your best friend!  They have affordable stuff that is easy to knock down as needed for moving.  Check out ebay etc for re sellers of ikea things.

You could get ideas from PB Teen online/catalogs and DIY them =) Thats what I did with my shag rug. They are super expensive!
