I don't think I'm often a fan of olive green, but this dress changed that for me!  It's a tiger/zebra print velour, and I gave it some black lace ruffley goodness and some metal trims.  I would probably keep it if I wasn't a hermit and actually left the house for events that require a skanky little dress.

I swear my best friend had a My Size Barbie with a dress made of this silver and pink star mesh when we were kids.  I was a giant so I could never fit into it, so I made my own!  Except I can't fit in this one either.   Wink
That ruched swiss dot stuff took the longest.  Pretty simple after that- little bit of ruching at the bust, some ruffle organza trim.  BAM!  Barbie dress.

Someday I will find more of this fabric.  I bought it years ago and forgot about it, and stumbled across it last week and literally hit gold!  Because it's metallic, get it?!  It's got lurex or some sort of metallic fiber in the knit, so it has a really awesome sheen to it.  I mean, purple and gold houndstooth would be awesome no matter what, but add some sparkle and I'm in heaven.
Princess paneled dress with a circle skirt, complete with lace ruffle trimmed lining/petticoat.

Inspired by my favorite 80s cartoon: JEM!  Or perhaps moreso her bitchy arch rival Pizazz.  This is my 80's dress for my street team's monthly theme (we also did yellow, my yellow top is here).
It was kind of a pain, I was having one of those days where my brain isn't working with my hands, and my sewing machine isn't working with ANYONE, so it took me probably 3 or 4 hours to do just the stupid bodice, which is just a tube top with ruching!
I gave it an asymmetrical cut with 3 ruffle layers- lace and neon green leopard velour!

Lol. It looks awesome as a dress. My mother made me a skirt from it, but seeing your dress I could totally reconstruct it! Cheesy
