I agree, the detailing, both the deep v in the front and the little cut out v in the back make this outstanding. I also think this ROCKS!!!!

First: thank you for your pretty comments!
I'm really surprised that anyone likes it!
But(and I'm really sorry for that...) I can't serve with a proper tutorial.
The original skirt luckily had a v-cut (or what you can call it..)
First I tried to cut a vest out of the whole piece of fabric, but ended up creating front and back pieces. The front pieces got decreases in the bust part.
Armholes and neckline were done freestyle (I suppose you could copy them from other vests). To get a talicoat-ish thing I simply made the back piece longer than the front.
I think that's it!

I think of adding a bolt at the back. Any suggestions how to make one?

(for sure there are lots of (language)failures in the text above, pleeaasee tell me if you've found some)
