Great project!  Here's the four I made from the directions:


I did use a bit more of the thin wire than in the directions but it was easy to add the wire.  I think I like the one with my shells the best.

The media has finally caught up with you guys.  Step by Step Wire Jewelry magazine has a how-to on this style of cuff bracelet in the summer 2005 issue.  I know because I bought the mag yesterday, and found the Craftster how-to today.  <Ack!>

Kudos for putting up a tutorial just as good, six months earlier.

I started with the directed 2 feet of the thicker wire but my wrists are skinny so I'm down to about 18 inches.  I happent to find a shampoo bottle which is about the size of my wrist and now I used that for shaping the cuff before adding the beads.  Once I started to look for a wrist shaped item, I found alot of them around my house: cream bottles, shampoo, cleaning product, etc.  It made it easier to shape for me.  Wink

yeah, same here - i actually use a tv remote control as a form. it's hard so you can really press the wire around it, and it's a little bit oval like a wrist.
