so i started this last year, but what with christmas presents and wedding presents and just plain laziness, i didn't finish it until earlier this month.  first time crochet steeking and boy was that scary!  this is also the first garment i've made for myself where i'm completely happy with the fit.  well, not completely, since i wish the shoulders were a bit more narrow, but happy enough that i've already worn it a few times!

my gauge was waaaay off, and i had to go up four needle sizes to get a fabric i liked.  i had to fudge  alot on the row gauge, and i knit a size 52" to fit my 42" bust.

pattern: eunny jang's deep v argyle
yarn: knitpicks merino style
needles: US 8's

Am I ever glad I opened this thread to see the picture.
 WOW!
Despite me being (un-naturally) opposed to "deep-v" sweaters .... I think yours is great!

I will have to look for that book. Hmmm ... maybe I could alter the deep-v a bit to make it wearable by moi?
