I made this quilt last year for my DD, it was the first quilt I made.
When I went to the fabric store, I picked out fat quarters because there were SO many choices and I couldn't commit to buying yardage of any, so I came up with this layout to fit the fabric I liked most.

This was the first time I had tried quilting so it ended up being *tiny* stippling. I also quilted peonies randomly in between the stippling. I used clear nylon thread and ended up having to buy another spool half-way through because I had to un-pick so much! aargh! I definitley learned ALOT making this quilt but I love it!

*note-the chenille border was so hard to make a binding on, I would not recommend it!
Thanks for looking! It's been fun to hear everyone's feedback!

quilt measures 34 x 46

That's so pretty!  And I love your tiny quilting job - so much detail when you look close up.

You did a great job! I love those colors. I bet that quilting took a while. Is it free motion quilting on a machine?

I know you didn't make this for your Designated Driver, but that's all that comes to mind...

This is beautiful!  Great work.
